yes you can boot RHL without making a boot disk
boot with windows go to the cdrom of RHL change to dosutils and copy loadlin
and vmlinuz to your c drive
use this command for drive c
loadlin c:\vmlinuz root=/dev/hda2
where hda2 is your root partition
once your linux boots either make appropriate changes in LiLo or create another
boot disk
