Hi,
I was thinking of getting a faster IDE CD-RW. I am currently using a CD-R that
writes at 4x. I have a few questions for those of you who are using drives that are
capable of higher (ie 6x, 8x, 10x) write speeds:
Is there a perceptable performance improvement over 4x? If so, is it worth the
price premium? Any rough comparisons? Any recommendations?
Naturally, I am interested in performance under Linux only.
