following error during ./configure :

c++ compiler exists in /usr/bin/c++. In fact c++ is a link to /usr/bin/g++

rajesh@suselinux:~/tmp/worker-2.0.0 > rpm -qf /usr/bin/c++
gpp-2.95.2-100

What is the cause of the above error ?
Thanks in advance.
