[LIH] how to install fonts of .ttf type

hi Guys,
    hope you guys have some idea on how I can get to install fonts of
.ttf file type.
I gad downloaded some from  http://fonts.linuxpower.org  and they were
of this type.
also any ideas where I can get some good fonts of .rpm type.
