I had tried to run XF4.0 and 4.01 on both sis6326 and
6215.It works.But there is a problem which I had
posted to the list but got no feedback.The version I
used was the one on redhat 7.0.Well it works with dri
and XAA disabled(use option "no_accel" and chipset as
SIS530 for 6215 at 800x600,16 - no other modes
work).6326 it works with XAA and dri.but the display
goes blank after 10 to 15 minutes of working (no DPMS
was not enabled)and the only option is to do a
ctrl+alt+F1 and a ctrl+alt+del to reboot the
system.All programs work fine including X apps,even
when the display goes blank.The same card and XF4.01
on solaris8 works fine.
Try it out it should work and if possible get me a fix
for the blank after 10mins prob.
