Use wvdial

touch /etc/wvdial.conf.

wvdialconf /etc/wvdial.conf

open wvdial conf put your telephone no username and password.

put the dns address of your vsnl server in /etc/resolve.conf.

wvdial

check for ifconfig ppp0

happy netting
