#include "stddisclaimer.h"

/usr/src/linux/Documentation/devices.txt (on my RH6.2 box) gives list
of all Linux devices and their allocated numbers. For each, there is
also the /dev directory node as well as a small description.
This will tell you the significance of each node in the /dev directory.

Please do not delete anything in the /dev directory unless you are
*absolutely* sure of what you are doing.
And even then ... avoid it.
