I had been trying to configure Wvdial:
I am getting this error as soon as it gets connected:
--> PPP daemon has died! (exit code = 1)
--> Disconnecting ..
Auto Reconnect ..
--> pppd error! Look at files in /var/log for an explanation.
Checked that: It says:
pppd [524] : The remote system (*) is required to authenticate itself but I
couldn't find any suitable (password) for it to do so.
-- I can understand this is a common error, tried searching the archives of
different lists, but just couldn't figure out the explanation :/
