Did that. There is also a 'lock' in /etc/ppp/options - I tried removing that
and dialing still all the same. Its disconnect with:
PPP daemon has died! (exit code = 1)
pppd error!
Has it got to do anything with the PAP and CHAP type authentications ? Btw,
I am trying to dial into VSNL.
