There are books from LDP on linux kernel hacking and module programming.They
are KHG(kernel hackers guide) and MPG(module programmers guide).most
distributions have these books installed in /usr/doc/LDP or
/usr/share/doc/LDP.There is a book on general linux programming which gives
an intro to module programming called Beginning Linux Programming by Wrox
publications which has a chapter on module programming.
