Run named with a higher loglevel. Also try killall -HUP named, /usr/sbin/ndc
reload instead of the usual /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart
Anyway, if it is the default bind that comes with rh6.2 (8.2.2p5 I think) then
upgrade to 8.2.3 ASAP (or bind 9.1 if you want to try it). RPMs for 8.2.3 are
available on ftp.redhat.com
