Hi,
Now I am able to use Mysql.The problem was that MySQl
server was not starting when the system boots.And I
though it was alive.
When I tryed to start it by hand and was getting the
error message.Now I copied mysql.server file to
/etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql and gave it execute
permissions.
And restarted MySQL with
# /etc/rc.d/init.d/mysql start
And set the root password with mysqladmin
