I have 2 HDD's

Primary Master -> Disk1 (Windows)
Secondary Master -> Disk2 (Linux)

Whenever I start my m/c, I boot into either of the OS's using LILO.

But, yesterday when I was working in Linux, I started getting IDE Seek
Failure ..., I immediately booted my System knowing that there was some
HDD problem. But, when I again chose Linux at LILO the system would show
0x00 and halt.

I tried this a number of times & sometimes the System would show the LILO
prompt as L or LIL or LIL? but whenever I get the proper LILO prompt I am
able to go into Windows, but not into Linux.

If I disable my Disk2 from the BIOS I am unable to even boot into Windows,
I get zeros scrolling past very fast ... (can't remember the exact
scrolling character ... i think it was zero's).

1. What could possibly be the problem? Has my Disk2 crashed or is there
   some problem with LILO or the Partion Table.

2. If I need to get my Windows up & running "minus Linux", will the
   sys command (a:\>sys a: c:) help me in booting into Windows (in GUI
   Mode), if not how do I go about without re-installing Windows?

3. Will re-installing Linux (after formatting Disk2) resolve my problem?
