You are not normally permitted to bring wwwoffle online
as an user in Debian. You can give the user name and
password via an interactive screen on your frames-good
browser via the Control Page.

In Debian GNU/Linux, wwwoffle is brought up and down
automatically as and when the ppp0 device goes up & down.
wwwoffle runs as a daemon and everything is taken care of
by the installation scripts.

With Debian you are already online. Do an 'lsof -i' and
convince yourself that wwwoffled is listening.

Previously wwwoffle had no such authentication issues. Now it
is so. While installing the package, what password did you
provide ? OK if you have mis-placed it. Do a 'dpkg --purge
wwwoffle' and re-install afresh. Before you uninstall try
re-configuring it by 'dpkg-reconfigure wwwoffle'.
