Hi,
Antiword is an excellent peace of software. It's distributed with Debian distro.
You can view the doc files in text mode. To view word attachments in mutt just
add the following to /etc/mailcap
application/octet-stream; antiword %s |more
voila. Now just press enter on the attachment (doc) file and you will be able to see
the attachment
on the screen without any graphical interface too :-) No koffice, staroffice or
abiword needed for
viewing simple word files. I have not tried with complex word documents though. It
should work for
them too.
