If RPMs of SDL and smpeg are meant for Their distro, then there is no
need of worrying. For RH6.x, the prefix should be /usr during
configuring any package.
like ./configure --prefix=/usr. Then do make and make install. Then
other depending packages will compile and work. But for zzplayer, once
again env variable QTDIR should be defined for qt 1.45 place. If KDE 2
is installed it needs kde1-compat files.
