Hi,
I haver redhat6.2 installed on my 20GB Hard disk. I had 2 DOS partitions( 5GB + 5GB )
and linux boot partition + Swap partition + linux root partition.
Today I found the machine would not boot and when I booted thro the rescue disk, I
found by using fdisk that there is no trace of the DOS partitions and when I mounted
the root partitions, 'df' showed that almost the whole of the Linux root parttion is
empty. 'ls' showed the directoyr entries, but when I changed into the directories, I
found that no files were listed.
I have almost a year's work. Can any body suggest any way out?
