The 4 GB linux partition must be extending beyond 1024 cylinders while
the 3 GB would be below it. You may check that using fdisk on the RHL
installation CD. If you want a larger linux partition, make a separate
boot partition (16 MB) as the second partition on the hard disk after
the NT partition and then make the root partition as large as you
desire.
