        you need to be root to mount filesystems. One of the solutions
can be to make an icon for LinNeighbourhoood on the desktop and change its
exec field to
        kdesu -c <path>/LinNeighbourhood (you need root password)

Or make the /usr/sbin/smbmnt suid root.
