the redhat howto is badly broken ... postfix will plug neatly into where
sendmail leaves off ... in my experience at least (on a test box). Try it
first :)
Those "conflicts" are all rpm related. Compiling postfix is far better :)

Is it doing so? I've been breaking my head with ldap for a while (works well -
_except_ in outlook 2000, which doesn't seem to understand a "*" query to
return all entries on the ldap server). Server-side auth hasn't been
experimented with yet - though that's the next step.
