Hi all
I posted a message regarding ISO getting bigger than expected, few days back.
Here are further updates.
I re-downloaded the ISO, now in my presence over four days. Particularly I
watched it rolling it over 652450KB and halted the download.
Then I copied the ISO to linux partition. I copied only first 635MB using a
small C program that I just dumped together...
I reinitiated wget and noticed that wget reported 'TYPE I' as per binand's
suggestion. But still it rolled over more than it's size.
Deleted the ISO, recreated it and restart wget. Watched every message. Amazigly
in it's connection header wget reported REST 688xxxxx which is the whole length
of ISO despite the fact that 635MB of ISO was already downloaded.
So I changed the download server with a fresh 635MB ISO and it finished it
smoothly.
I was able to mount the ISO and browse it using '-o loop -t iso9660'. So it
looks fine to me. However one big problem still remaining is that the md5sum for
the ISO is not matching the one provided on website.
Shall I go ahead and burn the CD or need I verify something more?
Any suggestions, welcome...
Shridhar
