Simple solution delete your KDE preferences..... .kde or .kde2 whatever you have
set it to.

Better you dig thr. those dirs and find out app specific preferences and delete
them. So you don't end up deleting your e-mail profile.... Anyway browsing when
you are  root is a real bad idea.

Taking a glance at .kde/.kde2 I feel like I am looking thr. wondoze registry, as
usual. MS has plenty to learn from .kde.... :-))
