The file INSTALL in the alsa-driver package says `Edit your
/etc/modules.conf'

The section of this file titled `modprobe/kmod support' tells you what
lines to add to your /etc/modules.conf file. There are plenty of examples.

Try `modprobe snd-card-intel8x0'
