Are win & linux loaded on the same machine ?
if yes. your job is half done.

ok if yes, please install cdrecord or equivalent packages (shipped with rh7)

the login as root and type

cdrecord --scanbus

if your drive is scsi controlled, it automatically detects it.

if your cdwriter is ide based, please add this line into your 
/etc/lilo.conf file

append = "hd?=ide-scsi" //where ? means primary master /slave etc..

then at the prompt please type

lilo;init 6

now after reboot, run cdrecord --scanbus.

then install, any frontend tools like xcdroast (also with rh7) to start 
burning cds
