Have you put the ip addresses to be assigned to the remote clients in
options.xxxx files. I have put the following in options.ttyS0

ho.abc.com:192.168.20.99

where ho.abc.com is the domain name and 192.168.20.99 is the ip which
will be assigned to the remote client when it connects throgh ttyS0.

Put a different ip in options.ttyS1.

Have a look at my step by step guide on mail server configuration at

http://rajesh.computers.webjump.com/

where I have narrated my experiences in setting up a mail server. Remote
login is also a part of it.

Hope this helps.

Regards
