I have the same card. X can be configured using FBDev quite easily - and it
works quite well.

For sound see www.sis.com.tw/support/download/630audio.htm
http://www.sis.com.tw/support/download/linux.htm#linuxaudio (see the rest of
the page). Support for this came in around the 2.3.40 kernel, according to the
page - so 2.4 should have support.

[checking]

mjollnir:/usr/src/linux/drivers/sound> find .|grep -i SiS
mjollnir:/usr/src/linux/drivers/sound>

mjollnir:~ uname -a
Linux mjollnir.rocklines.oyeindia.com 2.4.2 #10 Fri Feb 23 12:33:55 IST 2001 i686
unknown

nope :( A repeat of find .|grep -i SiS in /usr/src/linux only produces
references to sis5513, sis300 and sis900.

any ideas folks? I'm stuck with that box at home, and not enough cash / time
to rip out the SiS cards and replace them ...
