I am terribly confused...
I want to install sendmail 8.11.3
I downloaded the sendmail 8.11.3 in a dir
cd /home/lalit
[lalit@neeraj lalit]$ ls
core nsmail qpopper3.1 sendmail.8.11.3.tar
dead.letter openssl-0.9.6 qpopper3.1.tar sh
mail openssl-0.9.6.tar sendmail-8.11.3
I untared it and expanded it as sendmail-8.11.3
[lalit@neeraj sendmail-8.11.3]$ ls
Build PGPKEYS doc mailstats smrsh
FAQ README include makemap test
INSTALL RELEASE_NOTES libmilter obj.Linux.2.2.5-15.i586 vacation
KNOWNBUGS cf libsmdb praliases
LICENSE contrib libsmutil rmail
Makefile devtools mail.local sendmail
I stopped the earlier sendmail
/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail stop
i went to su
[lalit@neeraj sendmail-8.11.3]#./Build
[lalit@neeraj sendmail-8.11.3]# ./Build install
How do i proceed further ...
/*read me file says :4. Change to the cf/cf/ directory (that's not a typo):
Copy whichever .mc
file best matches your environment to config.mc, where config can be any
name. */what does this mean ????
My cf/cf dir contents are

and what is this m4 I am totally confused ????
I want to configure sendmail but i not understanding as to which dir it
should it be installed ....
shld my sendmail be in separate dir .
