Since your isp is using pap you have to enable pap in linux as well. For
kpp just select "PAP" in your authentication menu and fill in your login
and passwd. For others put in your login and passwd in
/etc/ppp/pap-secrets. If you use wvdial you dont have to do any thing
more. But for others you may need to put the relevant pap option in your
/etc/ppp/options. Lookup the man page for the exact option, I dont have
the man page handy at the moment
