Hello Guys,
I have a problem booting into Linux 2.4.2. So, I download this new kernel
source code and compile it using make clean distclean then make menuconfig
then make bzImage modules modules_install. Then I copy
/usr/src/linux/arch/i386/boot/bzImage to /boot, ditto to System map. Also
update lilo, run lilo and reboot. Then after it says uncompressing kerkel
... now booting kernel the computer just hangs for an infinite amount of
time.
Any body know what this could be for??
