UUCP is still the best possible means (even better than ETRN) of transporting
mail over slow / expensive / non permanent links.
UUCP has evolved a lot over the years - as has sendmail. If you dont use
some ancient sendmail with a hand-hacked .cf file that's been handed down
over the generations, and if you get a new build of Taylor UUCP (and a new
build of sendmail) you wont have problems I expect.
Just ensure that your uux and other binaries can't execute arbitrary commands
using backticks (that trick became rather tough long back ...)
