|UUCP is still the best possible means (even better than ETRN) of
transporting
|mail over slow / expensive / non permanent links.

|UUCP has evolved a lot over the years - as has sendmail. If you dont use
|some ancient sendmail with a hand-hacked .cf file that's been handed down
|over the generations, and if you get a new build of Taylor UUCP (and a new
|build of sendmail) you wont have problems I expect.

|Just ensure that your uux and other binaries can't execute arbitrary
commands
|using backticks (that trick became rather tough long back ...)

Oh I take back my words, which were based on UUCP in /usr/doc.
