I wasn't doing smart relaying for everyone. As I said earlier I wasn't
using a single ISP throughout the day. I simply had a pool of dialup
accounts and I used to connect to whoever let me connect first. Staying
online all day long on a modem was a painful task in 1999 for sure.
Therefore I couldn't be certain who would be my mail relay at any given
time. Ok I would have known but I wouldn't have got the relay of my
choice aka VSNL server all the time. Therefore I was doing direct
delivery for all emails other than those with destination in hotmail.com
and yahoo.com domain.

I was referring to rediff.com not rediffmail.com
