sure serially. So what i sometimes do in the urls file
%s/^/wget -b /g
%s/$/&/g
and sh urlfile :-). It just sucks the most out of the bandwidth.

wget can't do downloads in parts. And it makes difference only if
the speed that you get is much much below the max possible, as the case
here. It won't make much diff for a dialup modem I think.
