[LIH] What's Tripwire ?

Hello all

I've upgraded my system to RH 7 from RH 6.2.  There after, each time the
system is booted there is one mail for root to install tripwire.

What is this tripwire?

What is it used for?

And how does it differ from that of RH 6.2?
