I had problem installing linux 7.0
The hardware configuration is as follows.
Intell 810 board.
Cyrrix ||| 500mhz processor.
Crystall sound chip ( onboard)
128 mb ram
on board agp
samtron 55v 15" colour monitor.
Dlink 538tx ethernet card.
Harddisk. 20 gb
Partitions 4
C: 7 gb(windows)
d: 4.5
E: 4.5
F: 3.5 (linux)
I used the fourth partition to install linux.
My windows 98 is in C:
The installation went fine.It didnt detected the NIC.Installed LILO in MBR
After rebooting the lilo didnt showed nor it booted in to linux.
It booted normally in windows 98.
I think that it doesnt support Cyrix ||| 500 mhz processor.
If anyone had encounter with similar problem please let me know.
And solution also.
