The processor is very much supported. Most likely LILO hasn't been
installed properly. You will have to boot linux from a diskette and
reinstall LILO on the MBR. Also add the line
lba32
to the /etc/lilo.conf file if it isn't already there and remove
"linear".
The driver module for your NIC is rtl8139.o - it should be there in Red
Hat Linux 7.0. Add the following line to /etc/modules.conf
alias eth0 rtl8139
If the vendor has provided a linux driver for the card, install that on
your system and replace the existing rtl8139.o
