Is this a laptop? ACPI is competing with XT-PIC and is relevant for IRQ sharing. ACPI compatible may not be that it uses ACPI. Do a cat/proc/interrupt to find out if ACPI is used. In any case this does not affect APM. APM shold be enabled in the kernel. Get a kernel with APM support or compile one for yourself. Be careful what bios and chipset you are using as you might need to answer special yes/no/module questions if they are buggy. \Indraneel On Mon, Apr 02, 2001 at 02:56:20PM +0530, Kingsly John wrote: > > My motherboard says APCI compatible bios ... it's description of APCI is ---------------------------------------------- An alpha version of a web based tool to manage your subscription with this mailing list is at http://lists.linux-india.org/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr
