[LIH] vmware problem

Dear List,
        I tried VMWare trial in win2k I got phoenix bios afterwards lilo
prompt when I selected linux in lilo screen got full of 01  while
lilo was working perfectly when I went directly in Linux after
configuring vmware for 2-3 times linux got crashed.What may be problem.
