This is taken from /usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes - see what you want to
upgrade first and upgrade it.  With older distros (redhat 6.2 say) you'd need
to upgrade a lot of things - and with a newer distro (mandrake 7.2 say)
modutils (and maybe one or two other packages) should do the trick.

Current Minimal Requirements
