Put your RHL Cd in the drive and boot from it, boot in the rescue mode, mount
the partitions, edit lilo.conf and /sbin/lilo -v

Always keep a linux boot disk around, or get a image for one from
http://toms.net/rtbt.
You can of course create your own LOAF. You could also have one of those LFS
Cds from
Slackware or SuSE or the recovery CD that Linuxcare gave out one.
