a) Red Hat Linux 7.0 uses kernel 2.2.16 -- for which there is no support for
iptables. You would need to use ipchains.
b) IPTABLES works with kernel 2.3.x upwards. Red Hat Linux 7.1 comes with
kernel 2.3.x
c) If you cannot get hold of Red Hat Linux 7.1, then simply upgrade your
kernel (readup the Kernel Upgrade Howto); after which you can download
iptables separately, and configure it.
