Who else runs on itanium? BSD/Sco/Solaris? I can think of BSD as the only
contender.

Why make a KG kid to fight a heavy weight championship? MSFT has different
playing fields than linux. Let them devise the rule and run it. Let them devise
an OS that doesn't respond to user on heavy I/O and no CPU situation, and sell
it as 'Mother of all OS's'. I use same crap.
It's different....;-)
