Hello everybody,
I just want to know that in Linux is it possible to
launch programs in an other virtual terminal working in an other terminal.
For example : I am working in terminal 1. In terminal 5 there is nobody
logged in ( mingetty is running ). Now I want to play an mp3 song in that
5th terminal using mpg123. If I see the process running using ps -x the tty
column for that mpg123 process should be tty5. I THINK I MUST BE THE ROOT TO
DO THIS. But how to do this ??.
Please tell me. I am using Red Hat Linux 6.2.
