linuxdocs.org forms a huge subset of this request :)
Instead of posting monthly lists, some of us can get together and create a list
of howtos / FAQs and post them on the lih listinfo page on sourceforge.

A characteristic of the "chronic newbie" is that [s]he will *still* ask a FAQ,
despite all this :) But yeah, worth a try anyway.
