Thats bad, that should be LBA32. I haven't heard of FAT32 in lilo yet.

Add more RAM, and add VideoRAM. KDE and GNOME both run over X.
So if X is slow, everything will slow down.
Maybe a recompile will help? Can someone tell me if fb mode will improve performance?
