No, You need to install a X-server on winduhs... and then run the clients
on the linux/Unix machine!

and there is no such thing as X-windows !!

I don't think VNC would qualify as a X server ! though it does allow you
to run a program on a remote machine... you also need a display on the
remote machine for vnc... whereas for X the server is the display and can
be located anywhere in the world!

BTW if you are running winNT/2k then you can run XFree86 itself check the
cygwin port available at http://cygwin.com
