startx is a script to start the X server on Linux. Running it on a
terminal emulator would probably cause the X server to start on the remote
Linux machine. If X is already running on the remote machine, then startx
will fail (actually X will fail, unless you specify a different visual
screen, eg. startx -- :1 would start another X server running on a
different screen (:1).

What you need is an X server for windows. MicroImages X server was free
but now is a time limited demo I think.

Your best option is VNC. Search for VNC on google and check that out.
