  You should give
   interfaces = 192.168.0.251/32 192.168.0.subnet/24

   the second entry depends on your subnet and subnet mask. 
   If you have many interfaces all of them has to be listed in the
   interfaces line. 
   There will be a file DIAGNOSIS.TXT some where in the samba
documentation. Step by step trouble shoot of that is much better.
