oh glad to hear about this. I have always felt that a better control on
loading modules was needed than the conf.modules file. I think it would
be good to split the confiles into seperate directories ( say ) according
to the module name and the kernel it is intended for.

 If one has different kernel versions, conf.modules be comes difficult to
manage and still keep it readable
