Boot from RH6.2 CD & upgrade!! That should do the trick...

I have a RH 6.2 setup used as a file server and net sharing purpose. after

1 month of the setup, i just could not login as root or other user. i tried
getting in as linux single and changing password, but on logging again same
story, also, i tried changing the /etc/password and /etc/shadow files, but
again the same prob. i m stuck up now, pls help me.
